UPDATE: It’s Hiroshima Day, I’m riding. Details of lunch below
(and yes this was cancelled due to low numbers, but I’m riding regardless of numbers).
Your Ride Leader is Tina 0412 993 650, all enquiries for this ride to Tina. Cancellation of the ride due to weather will be made via Team App.
Today is Hiroshima Day, and since we have a great relationship with our friends in Hiroshima, let’s ride in the name of peace. We’ll probably start at Flemington at HQ (this may change) and head out for a lovely ride to Cibi for lunch…one of my fave Japanese cafes.
I will teach you how to fold an origami tsuru (crane…of the bird variety!), a symbol of peace in Japan.
Distance: ~20km
Level: Pink
Start: WWHQ, 52 Pin Oak Crescent, Flemington
Bring: Spare tube, lights, lock, water bottle and money for coffee and food.
New riders are welcome, we have a come-and-try program of 3 rides before you need to become a member. Please see our website to determine what level of ride suits you.
https://www.wheelwomenaustralia.com/riderlevelsBy RSVPing to this ride you agree to the conditions set out on the sign-in form found in the TeamApp documents section
