Sunday Sessions:
Amy’s Bike Skills is a FREE 3-week program designed to give you the skills and confidence to ride your bike more often.

Developed by the Amy Gillett Foundation and delivered by experienced female instructors from Wheel Women, Amy’s Bike Skills teaches safe cycling skills, navigation skills and basic bike maintenance skills.

The program is not suitable for complete beginners and participants are expected to already have some basic riding skills. The program will build on these skills and give you the confidence to ride more.

Over 3 weeks, you’ll learn how to:
Start, stop and corner safely
Change gears
Use signals
Ride on paths and quiet roads
Look after your bike and fix a flat tyre
Plan routes, and much more!

To join Amy’s Bike Skills, you’ll need to:
Commit to the full 3-week program
Own or have access to a bike and helmet
Meet any specific program requirements e.g. be female. (If you aren’t over 50, register anyway if the program isn’t full you’ll be able to join)

Amy’s Bike Skills programs are FREE thanks to a VicRoads Community Road Safety Grant, but you must register in advance. Please RSVP below and we will send you the Terms and Conditions and Participant Consent Form closer to the date.
