Have you ever seen a bike race before, wondering how a criterium race works or just want to see some festivity on the Willy foreshore? Then come along and watch some serious bike racing in our backyard.

The Bay Crits are on and Stage 4 will be on the Williamstown foreshore. Loads of people there but you can usually find a nice shady spot to watch…feel free to wander off on your own and find the best vantage spot. Bring some snacks or money to buy some nourishment (read: ice cream) so you can sit and enjoy the racing.

The WOMEN’S kicks off at 1pm and we don’t want to miss the Specialized Women’s race team give it their best…let’s cheer them on!

Starts at Hobson’s Rd at 11am SHARP (be there a few minutes early if you must). We’ll head to Willy the usual way and when we get there feel free to wander and do your own thing…we won’t all necessarily ride back together, so feel free to head home when you’ve had enough.

Distance – 20km, long stop in the middle. All ride levels welcome.

Haven’t set a finish time on this, but we’ll head home at some point!
