Sadly we need to cancel due to rain, hail and a thunderstorm forecast for tomorrow.

Your ride leader is Jo, 0437121717, all enquiries for this ride to Jo. Cancellation of the ride due to weather will be made via the Team app.

We will head south along the Barwon River Trail, into the ‘burbs via Breakwater Road, past the Racecourse and the Showgrounds, heading for East Geelong, the East Geelong Golf Club (anyone for a quick 9?) and Limeburners Point. We will take a moment or six to enjoy the view before heading to Cunningham Pier and coffee and food somewhere. After refreshments we will head back to the River Trail via Swanston Street.
Please note there is some road riding as well as on road bicycle lanes and off-road shared paths.

Distance: ~20 km
Level: Pink – there are a couple of hills we will have to negotiate. These will be ridden/walked at the participant’s own pace and we will regroup at the top.
Start: Carpark at Barwon Valley Activity Centre, Belmont.
Bring: Lights, locks, spare tube, water, money for coffee and cake. A high visibility jacket/vest would be good as we are on road some of the time.
