Wheel Women Ride Leaders will again be Wave Leaders for Bicycle Network’s Around The Bay Event. Being a Wave Leader means we are a friendly face and provide encouragement for other women riding the event. Pretty much what we always do.
Wave Leaders start at the front of the group for each distance and the great news is that you can start at the front with us. When you register for the event use the code ‘RIDEWITHUS’ or just join us at the front on the day.

This year’s event starts at Albert Park Lake, meaning riders riders won’t be dealing with challenging City Road conditions (particularly at the end of the day), while also experiencing less congestion, stunning views over Albert Park Lake, an improved finish line and better access to a new look event village!

Our Ride Leaders will be doing the following distances:
50km (Altona Return) – Sharyn and Kathy
100km (Frankston Return) – Tina and Alicia
135km (Geelong – Melbourne) – Natasha and Jo
160km (Rosebud Return) – Helga and Jimi
