The Bellarine Rail Trail is located near the South Geelong Rail Station, however we have been informed that parking at the Geelong Showgrounds near Carr St and Breakwater Rd is free and easier for meeting. Please meet there at 9.30am and we will make our way to the trail.

The full distance is 75km which is to Queenscliff and back. If you wish for a shorter ride then please meet at Drysdale Station, which is on the trail. There is parking there and this will provide about a 35km ride to Queenscliff and back.

You can choose to bring your own picnic lunch, or try your luck at a cafe or for fish and chips…maybe even the pub. We are not making bookings at this stage.

Open to partners and friends and we’ll do Pink and upwards riders. PLEASE, if you think you will be slower on the trail, or you are a Pink rider, consider the shorter distance.

Wider tires recommended but not mandatory, there is gravel on the trail.
Road bikes with thin tyres not recommended.

Start: 10.30 am Drysdale Station 2-10 Station St Drysdale. There are toilets.

Bring: bike lock, 2 spare tubes, MYKI card, full water bottle and money for coffee and lunch.
