Hi Everyone,

the weather gods are not being kind to us lately…it looks like a storm is predicted right for the time we will be riding tomorrow morning.
I also have some injury issues I am dealing with and can’t afford to get wet/cold (broken rib).

I will keep an eye on the weather, but if you are NOT going tomorrow please update on Team App. If you have pre-purchased a ticket and the ride doesn’t go ahead I would encourage you to go anyway because you CAN’T waste your ticket. I will update Team App by 8.30am tomorrow and hopefully we will still get to go!

In remembrance of Hiroshima Day and our friends in Hiroshima…

The Thirty Six Views of Mt Fuji…if you missed it in Tokyo at the National Museum then come with us to see five from the series, including ‘The Great Wave’ as well as many other works by the prolific Ukiyo-e artist Hokusai of the Edo period. It will be a day of Japanese as we’ll also organise to stop in somewhere for some Japanese food post exhibition…hmmm, gyoza anyone?
If you’re lucky, I could be convinced to show you how to fold an origami crane if you don’t know how!

Exhibition cost at NGV is $16 for non-members of NGV, but less for NGV Members

Distance: 25km to be confirmed
Level: Pink and up. This is a ride to the exhibition, so wear comfy clothes for the gallery and bring an EXCELLENT lock!! D-locks recommended.
Start: WWHQ
Bring: Front light, D-Lock or other strong lock, spare tube, MYKI card, water bottle, and money for coffee & snack.

New riders are welcome, we have a come-and-try program of 3 rides before you need to become a member.
