Following a leisurely warm up at the outdoor velodrome in Hawthorn, we will ride towards the Arts Centre on shared paths. We stop here for coffee and to view a complimentary exhibition celebrating magical moments from Kylie Minogue’s highly successful concert tours dating back to 1989.
Included is a selection of costumes by international designers such as Dolce & Gabbana and Jean Paul Gaultier as well as locals Peter Morrisey and Mark Burnett. Also on display are working drawings, photographs and film footage that provide rare glimpses into the world backstage.
Humming Kylie tunes, riders can catch a train home from Flinders Street station or alternatively, join me on the return journey to the velodrome, where we should arrive around 11.30am.
Distance: Approx. 10kms one way
Level: Pink and up
Start: Hawthorn Velodrome (Patterson Reserve), Robinson Rd, Hawthorn
Finish: Either Flinders Street station or Hawthorn Velodrome
Bring: Front light, strong bike lock, spare tube, MYKI card, full water bottle & money for coffee and light snack.
New riders are welcome, we have a come-and-try program of 3 rides before you need to become a member.
