It’s fast approaching that fun time of the year and on this night ride we head off to the Deutsche Schule Melbourne to explore their legendary German Christmas Market.
It’s always a lovely surprise to see what’s on offer and past discoveries include beautiful Christmas themed decorations and gifts, delicious hot food, delightful gingerbread houses, mulled wine, cold beer, yummy pretzels and of course, Christmas Carols performed in both German and English.
This vibrant market is always a hit with Wheel Women and as our return journey will be in the dark, please ensure you bring fully charged bike lights and if required, clear spectacles for your ride home.
NOTE: Fully charged front and rear bike lights – NO LIGHTS, NO RIDE. Strong lock, spare tube, MYKI card, water bottle, money and backpack for small purchases.
