This one is going up at short notice because sometimes overnight you realise – YOU JUST CAN. So can you?

Your Ride Leader is Helga 0415 183 540, all enquiries for this ride to Helga. Cancellation of the ride due to weather will be made via Team App.

Following a leisurely warm up at the outdoor velodrome in Hawthorn, we will ride towards the city on shared paths and head to Port Melbourne.

We then cruise along the waterside and through parkland before riding a short distance by road to South Wharf, from where we travel mainly by shared path to WW HQ, our final destination.

We stop here to say “hello” to Tina and for more lively chatter and laughter with refreshments at one of the many neighbouring eateries.

Please bring a MYKI so if your legs are weary, you can catch a train, either home or to Kooyong Railway Station which is located near Hawthorn Velodrome. This concludes PART A of our ride and we expect will finish at 11am.

Alternatively, if your legs are fresh and you have eaten and are hydrated, please join me for PART B which is a ride of approx. 20 kms back to Hawthorn Velodrome, where we should arrive around 1 – 1.30pm.

Distance: 30km (Part A) or ~50km (Part A & B)
Level : Magenta and up
Start : Hawthorn Velodrome, end of Robinson Rd, Patterson Reserve, Hawthorn
Bring : lights, lock, spare tube, MYKI card, full water bottle and money for coffee.
Cost: Members free, Non-members $5 paid to the ride leader.
New riders are welcome, we have a come-and-try program of 3 rides before you need to become a member.
