LET’S RIDE. It looks like we’ll be okay and the rain will be in the south, so bring a rain jacket just in case and we’ll meet at Moreland Station.

WEATHER ALERT: I have managed to pick the only day all week that has rain forecast. I’ll do a weather check in the morning and update here. Let’s hope they are wrong.

Your Ride Leader is Alicia 0409 142 264, all enquiries for this ride to Alicia. Cancellation of the ride due to weather will be made via Team App.

We’ll start at Moreland Station and head north on the Upfield path to Fawkner Cemetry where we’ll have a look at a bit of history, then we’ll head to the Metropolitan Ring Trail. We’ll make our way to the Preston Markets for a bite to eat and then head back to the start.
While this ride is mostly on bike paths there will be some riding on quiet-medium roads. We ask that you wear bright-coloured clothing and have working front and rear lights.

Distance: ~30km
Level: Pink and up
Start: Moreland train station. We’ll meet in the carpark, cnr Moreland Rd and Cameron St. Parking is available at the station or in neighbouring streets.
Bring: Lock, front and rear lights, spare tube, water bottle, MYKI and money for light refreshments.
