Knowing how to care for your bike is a big part of becoming a confident rider. We’ll teach you some skills that will not only help keep your bike safe and functioning correctly, but also get you out of trouble.
Topics covered:
• fix a flat tyre
• bike parts and how to care for them
• changing brake pads (rim and disc)
• checking chain and running gear
• overview of what tools you need
• brief overview of cleaning your bike correctly
You don’t need to bring your own bike for this, but it helps if you do. We’ll have gear on hand to demonstrate and do some hands on practice. Be prepared to get your hands dirty!
