After taking in the fresh air at Rippleside Park we will enjoy a roll along Geelong’s northern waterfront and check out the site for the new Geelong to Tasmania Ferry terminal. We’ll follow the bay round through Geelong’s shipping terminal hub. We might have to head along the old Geelong Road to get to Lara if the underpass is flooded. Return trip we’ll loop up onto the Ted Wilson Trail coming back to Rippleside via Cowies Creek.
This ride has a large section of road shared with heavy vehicles at times. Riders must be confident road riders. Lights are mandatory.

Level: Magenta and up
Distance: 40kms
Start: Rippleside Park carpark near the water edge. Entry via Bell Parade.
Bring: Lights, strong lock, spare tube, water bottle, money for refreshments.
