Meeting at the Rangers Hut car park, we’ll set off on a dusk adventure on the lower Kurrajong trails at the You Yangs.

This is a ride for the trusty mountain bike, with singletrack through the trees and fire roads to get you around. Depending on the weather leading up to the ride, trails could be sandy, muddy or a combination of the two. Either way, they’ll be perfect! No technical features- we’ll stick to the main trails and be on the lookout for the spooky YY nightlife.

Level: MTB beginner, green trail
Distance: Approx. 20km
Start: Rangers Hut Car park, You Yangs Park, Branch Road Lara
Bring: LIGHTS! Recommended- a light on your helmet and one on your handlebars. Spare tube/s, plenty of water, ride snacks, a jacket in case it rains, insect repellant and your sense of adventure.
Let me know if you want to ride but don’t have lights as I have some spares.
