Wow, with a ride title like that you must be wondering where Leanne is going. We’ll start with a riverside roll along the Barwon River and then “Hang a Rightie” and head up and then down Swanston Street bike path to the top of Eastern Beach. From there we meander through Eastern Gardens Park checking out the bat colony on the way and admiring the view out over Corio Bay. Refreshments will be at The Tea House café in the Botanical Gardens after which we will ride back to the start together.
This ride is on bike paths (sealed and compact gravel) and a bit of road in a bike lane (footpath available).
Level: Pink and up
Distance: ~20 km
Start: Promenade, Belmont (near the Barwon Valley Fun Park). We’ll meet down at the river
Bring: Mask, sanitiser, spare tube, water bottle, money for light refreshments. Lights and lock if you have them.
