Covid-19: As per the DHHS and CHO directions, ALL riders must be double vaccinated.

Let’s start the day with a riverside roll along the Barwon passing by Belmont Common Golf Course, looping round to the other side of the Barwon at the Old Breakwater Bridge. From there we will “Hang a Rightie” at John Landy Field and head up and down Swanston Street on a designated bike path to the top of Eastern Beach. From there we meander through Eastern Gardens Park checking out the bat colony on the way and admiring the view out over Corio Bay. Refreshments will be at The Tea House café in the Botanical Gardens after which we will make our way back. The surfaces we travel on are a mix of road, paths and some compact gravel.
Level: Pink and above
Distance: approx. 20-22 km
Start: Meet on the Promenade next to the river, Barwon Valley Fun Park, Belmont (See map)
Bring: Mask, sanitiser, lights, strong lock, spare tube, water bottle, money for light refreshments.

If you have any Covid-19 symptoms, no matter how mild, you must cancel from the ride and please get tested.New riders are welcome, we have a come-and-try policy of 3 rides before you need to become a member. Please see our website to determine what level of ride suits you.
