CANCELLED: sorry folks but the weather forecast is not conducive for a safe or fun ride, so we have cancelled.

WEATHER ALERT: The forecast for Saturday is for wild weather – heat, rain, wind and a thunderstorm, none of which we like riding in. We’ll wait until Friday even to make a final decision on running the ride, so stay tuned and cross your fingers.

Covid-19: As per the DHHS and CHO directions, ALL riders must be double vaccinated.
If you have not already sent us your vaccination certificate, email it to us at: coaching@wheelwomen.com.au. If we do not receive your certificate prior to riding you will not be able to participate.

This ride takes us along the Bay Trail from the Elwood Canal to St Kilda Beach and Sandringham Beach with many lovely water views. It can be busy with other users enjoying the trail, so we’ll leave early, take it easy and above all have fun. When we get to Sandringham we’ll stop and enjoy the view before returning for a stop at the North Point café for coffee and a bite to eat. This café is just a couple of kms before the end of our ride.
It will be close to Christmas so wear a bit of Christmas bling.

Level: Pink and up
Distance: 25km
Start : On the access path south of John Cribbes Footbridge. Look for the seat on the access path between the end of /Elster Creek/Elwood Canal and the Bay Trail. (If you need more information call Judy)
Bring: Mask, hand sanitiser, lights, lock, spare tube, water bottle, MYKI and money for light refreshments.

We will be maintaining the required social distancing. If you have any Covid-19 symptoms, no matter how mild, you must cancel from the ride and please get tested.
