Let’s try again. Hopefully the weather will be in our favour this time.
Ride with Tina. Climbing a hill can be a challenge. But the Humevale Hill is a great beginner climb and one to really hone your skills on. We’ll be there to give a little talk about what to do when climbing, share a few tips and help get you to the top. This is NOT a race. This is all about what YOU can do.
Descending correctly is a real skill and it can take some nerves to let go of the brakes, but when you know what to do and when to do it, you’ll be decsending like Cancellara in no time!
Before descending, Tina will talk about her favourite part and give some tips to descend correctly and safely.
We’ll be meeting at the corner of Church Street and Beech Street in Whittlesea at 9.30am and riding from there. Please bring some lunch/snack money for after the ride.
In the case of heavy rain we will postpone the ride (again!)…we want this to be enjoyable. It’s a fun hill, very pretty and is a VERY quiet road ride. It is not a race, but a challenge to just say ’I did it!"
This is a ride for advanced-Pink or Purple riders.
COST: Members $5, others $15
Weather check: Call Tina on 0412 993 650 one hour before if you are uncertain about the weather.
By RSVPing to this ride you agree to the conditions set out on the sign-in form found in the TeamApp documents section.
