STOP PRESS: We were alerted to a ride that is happening from our favourite U2 Cycle Hotel in Onomichi Japan that is happening at the same time we ride on Saturday. The ride is being run to support the people of Kumamoto Japan who experienced the devastating earthquakes recently and is a fundraiser.

We have been invited to ride in tandem with the Japanese riders as a show of support and the pics will be covered in the Rapha Cycle Club newsletter and social media…that’s pretty cool!! We’ll post pics while we ride!

Grab your mum and tell the girls they need to put on their leggings and polish their bikes. We’ll organise a gorgeous ride for everyone so all levels welcome and we will make sure everyone is supported…it will be very manageable by all riders!

In celebration of Mothers Day we need a ride that goes a little ‘cross-generational’ so we can show how awesome women on bikes can be…no matter what age you are. And if you don’t have a Mum or a daughter, why not adopt one for the day (I have!)…I’m sure we’ll have some willing participants to help you out!

Meet at Cyclic Bicycles at 10.15am (you might even get in a little Mother’s Day shopping while you’re there) and we’ll take a lazy roll into the city and along the river so we can sit in the sun (we hope) and have a coffee at Kanteen.

Ride Level: Blue and up…everyone welcome
Start: Cyclic Bicycles, 56 Pin Oak Crescent Flemington
Bring: the usual – water, MYKI, raincoat and spare tube along with money for coffee / cake at the end.
Cancellation due to weather will be via Team App one hour before the ride.
